Electrolytic nickel requires a catalyst and direct current to deposit the nickel layer on to the substrate. Electrolytic nickel plating can increase the durability, hardness, conductivity, heat-resistance, and corrosion protection of parts. CTI offers dull sulfamate nickel (Type 1) and semi-bright nickel (Type 2) processes on copper and brass substrates.
